Basketball Recap: Chino Cowboys vs. Baldwin Park Braves

The Chino Cowboys waltzed into their game on Thursday with 14 straight wins but they left with 15. They really took it to Baldwin Park for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-5 victory at home. Chino has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chino to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tess Oldenburg, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Oldenburg is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was London Gibbs, who scored 21 points along with seven steals.

Chino pushed their record up to 19-3 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Baldwin Park, they are on a 22-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-24.

Chino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Baldwin Park also has no future games currently scheduled.
