Softball Recap: Fox Comes Up Short

Fox was the 7-0 winner over Kirkwood when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by just one run.

Fox's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Kirkwood, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Fox is taking a road trip to square off against Seckman at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Kirkwood, they will face off against Ladue Horton Watkins at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
