Soccer Recap: Palo Alto Find Success

With a playoff win on the line, Palo Alto rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Soledad Aztecs, sneaking past 2-1. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by just one goal.

Kaitlin Lowry and Ella Quinlan scored both of Palo Alto's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Palo Alto now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Soledad, their loss dropped their record down to 17-3.

Coming up, Palo Alto will square off against Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View's last six matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Soledad does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
