Recap: Arrowhead Christian Eagles vs. Linfield Christian Lions
The Arrowhead Christian Eagles won the last time they faced the Linfield Christian Lions, and things went their way on Friday too. Arrowhead Christian came out on top against Linfield Christian by a score of 59-48. Given Arrowhead Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 418th, while Linfield Christian is ranked 927th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Arrowhead Christian can attribute much of their success to Bethany Wilkes, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keira Caparas, who scored ten points.
The win makes it two in a row for Arrowhead Christian and bumps their season record up to 10-4. As for Linfield Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
Arrowhead Christian will head out on the road to face off against Woodcrest Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodcrest Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Linfield Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Aquinas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Saturday.
