Softball Recap: Westran Takes a Loss

Westran lost against Macon back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hornets lost 17-2 to the Tigers. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westran saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Hollmann, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Westran's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Macon, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Westran will face off against Salisbury at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Macon, they will square off against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 4, the Cougars 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
