Softball Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 11-3 to the Clarinda Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cyclones of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in July of 2024.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Clarinda, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-5.

Harlan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-2 defeat against St. Albert on the 17th. As for Clarinda, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against Atlantic on the 17th.
