Basketball Game Preview: Rock Academy Warriors vs. Orange Glen Patriots

The Rock Academy Warriors will take on the Orange Glen Patriots in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, the stars were shining brightly for Rock Academy in a 41-23 win over Clairemont.

Rock Academy can attribute much of their success to Thereza Horugavye, who posted 17 points and five rebounds, and Brooke Rodrigues, who had 13 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orange Glen). They walked away with a 32-22 victory over Guajome Park Academy on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Rock Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Orange Glen, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.

Rock Academy took their win against Orange Glen in their previous meeting on Wednesday by a conclusive 44-23. Does Rock Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Orange Glen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
