Basketball Recap: Yucaipa Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Yucaipa can now relate to. They took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Culver City Centaurs on Thursday. The Thunderbirds were down 43-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Yucaipa's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Culver City, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Yucaipa nor Culver City have any future games scheduled.
