Basketball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Comes Up Short

They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Baldwin Highlanders. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Jaguars came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Highlanders are ranked 67th).

Thomas Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Baldwin, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

Thomas Jefferson has already played their next matchup, a 65-48 victory against Pine-Richland on the 10th. As for Baldwin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 77-50 win against Elizabeth Forward on the 10th.
