Soccer Recap: St. Joseph Notre Dame Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Making Waves Academy Marlins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pilots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in January.

Their goal came courtesy of Olivia Villarete-Minor, which was the first she's scored this season.

St. Joseph Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Making Waves Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Redwood Christian the next time they take the pitch. St. Joseph Notre Dame will host Redwood Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, while Making Waves Academy will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
