Baseball Recap: Trion Takes a Loss

Trion lost a heartbreaker to Bowdon when they met back in March of 2023, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Trion fell 14-10 to Bowdon. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Trion's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Bowdon, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trion will square off against Darlington at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bowdon, they will take on Ranburne at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bowdon is facing Ranburne at the right time seeing as Ranburne is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
