Soccer Recap: Discovery Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Discovery's game on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand the Shiloh Generals a 3-0 shutout. Given Discovery's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Shiloh are ranked 284th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Discovery hit Shiloh with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sergio Orellana, Manza Masamuna, and Yahir Gelvis Rivas.
