Softball Recap: South Effingham Falls Short of Creekview in the Playoffs

South Effingham and Creekview squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but South Effingham had to settle for second. They lost 11-3 to the Grizzlies. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Mustangs, who until this game were averaging 2.35 runs allowed.

South Effingham saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abbey Jordan, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

South Effingham's defeat dropped their record down to 26-5. As for Creekview, they pushed their record up to 29-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

As of now, neither South Effingham nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
