Softball Recap: Nowata Comes Up Short

Nowata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Chelsea Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-2 loss back in August.

Nowata's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Chelsea, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Nowata is set to face off against their familiar foe Oklahoma Union at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chelsea will challenge rival Ketchum at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
