Hermon entered their tilt with Foxcroft Academy on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Ponies with a sharp 12-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 two weeks ago.

Hermon's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Foxcroft Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hermon will host Mount Desert Island at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foxcroft Academy, they will challenge Maine Central Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.11 runs per game on average), something the Ponies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
