While Newman Catholic put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura. The Knights blew past the Cardinals 8-0. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Newman Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-1 record this season. As for Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
