Recap: Port Allegany Gators vs. Coudersport Falcons
The Port Allegany Gators won the last time they faced the Coudersport Falcons, and things went their way on Friday too. Port Allegany walked away with a 41-32 win over Coudersport. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Port Allegany.
Port Allegany got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayleigha Dowell out in front who scored 16 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Moses, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Port Allegany has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Coudersport, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Allegany's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bradford at 7:15 p.m. on January 22nd. Bradford is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Coudersport, they will head out on the road to square off against Northern Potter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
