Basketball Recap: Foresthill Piles Up the Points Against Buckingham Charter

Foresthill put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Buckingham Charter Knights 47-14. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Wildfires had established a 22-point advantage.

Leading Foresthill to victory were Amy Saxelby and Maddy Marquez. Saxelby dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 boards, while Marquez posted nine points along with seven steals and five rebounds. The contest was Saxelby's seventh in a row with at least 15 points. Brianna Miller was another key player, putting up four points and five assists.

Foresthill's win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Foresthill will take on San Juan in a tournament on Thursday. As for Buckingham Charter, they will face off against North Hills Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
