Basketball Recap: Yerba Buena Find Success

Yerba Buena posted their closest victory since February 6, 2024 on Monday. They skirted past the Overfelt Royals 44-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-21 back in January.

Yerba Buena is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.2 points per game. As for Overfelt, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yerba Buena will take on Gunderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gunderson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
