Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Comes Up Short

Tri-Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-30 loss at the hands of the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 45-22 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Tri-Valley lost, don't look at Avery Miller. Despite the final result, she posted 26 points in addition to six boards and three steals. That was a full 86.7% of Tri-Valley's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Tri-Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Tri-Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Shenandoah Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, they are taking a road trip to square off against Williams Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
