Soccer Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Springfield was not quite Memorial's equal in the second half on Saturday. They came up short against the Roughriders, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that Springfield have lost by exactly three goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Pierre Bel, who's now up to two this season.

Springfield has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Memorial, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1-1.
