Basketball Recap: Huntington Expression Prep Comes Up Short

Huntington Expression Prep lost against iSchool of Lewisville back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Huntington Expression Prep Kings fell 71-63 to the iSchool of Lewisville Cougar. The Kings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading iSchool of Lewisville to victory were David Iweze and Jaylen Lawal. Iweze posted ten points in addition to eight assists and seven rebounds, while Lawal went 7-for-15 to rack up 18 points. Those eight assists gave Iweze a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Marks, who earned 11 points.

Huntington Expression Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for iSchool of Lewisville, they pushed their record up to 22-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Huntington Expression Prep nor iSchool of Lewisville have any future games scheduled.
