Basketball Recap: Ingram Moore Comes Up Short

If Ingram Moore was riding high fresh off their 72-38 takedown of Florence on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors fell just short of the Blanco Panthers by a score of 54-51 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1013th, while the Panthers are ranked 489th).

Ingram Moore's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Blanco, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ingram Moore will head out to square off against Llano at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Blanco, they will venture away from home to take on Comfort at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
