Football Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Valley Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by the Aquinas Falcons and fell 40-6. The matchup marked the Defenders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Graham Lunzer threw for 140 yards on 12 of 22 attempts. Oliver Boateng was his top target, picking up 84 receiving yards.

Valley Christian dropped their record down to 4-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Aquinas, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
