Shadow Hills is 10-0 against Rancho Mirage since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Shadow Hills Knights will take on the Rancho Mirage Rattlers at 5:00 p.m.

Shadow Hills is headed into Wednesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 5. They and Palm Desert finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw on Monday.

Meanwhile, Rancho Mirage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against La Quinta, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Rattlers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 735th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 321st).

Shadow Hills' draw makes their record 5-3-2 this season. As for Rancho Mirage, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Shadow Hills came out on top in a nail-biter against Rancho Mirage in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shadow Hills since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
