Christopher kept a clean sheet against Gilroy on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Gilroy Mustangs 1-0. The Cougars' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four games.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Brooklyn Rosa, which was the first she's scored this season.

Christopher's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Gilroy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christopher will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Aptos at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Gilroy and Leigh will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
