Baseball Recap: Amarillo Comes Up Short

Amarillo and Aledo squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Amarillo had to settle for second. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats. The Sandies haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Amarillo's loss dropped their record down to 32-6. As for Aledo, the victory (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 38-4.

As of now, neither Amarillo nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
