Softball Recap: Turner's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Marietta last Thursday, Turner came back down to earth. The Falcons fell 7-3 to the Hartshorne Miners on Saturday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Miners apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Turner's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for Hartshorne, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Turner has already played their next matchup (against Dickson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hartshorne, they will host Coalgate at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Miners will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
