The Upsala/Swanville Patriots will challenge Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Upsala/Swanville sitting on seven straight wins and Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool on three.

Last Wednesday, Upsala/Swanville was fully in charge, breezing past West Central Area 52-6. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven games by 32 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Upsala/Swanville's victory came down to the chemistry between William Schafer and his top target Brody Kircher. Schafer threw for 145 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes while Kircher picked up 102 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 102 receiving yards gave Kircher a new career-high.

Upsala/Swanville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 256 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 225 rushing yards in six consecutive contests.

Upsala/Swanville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Samuel Laliberte, Calvin Leners, and Brenden Mack picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They skirted past Benson 18-16.

Upsala/Swanville's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Upsala/Swanville against Browerville/Lafreniere HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in September, as the team secured a 38-6 victory. In that matchup, the Patriots amassed a halftime lead of 24-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
