Baseball Recap: Liberty County Comes Up Short

Liberty County fell victim to Long County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Long County Blue Tide, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Tide this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Tuesday.

Liberty County's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Long County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

While Liberty County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
