St. Hubert Catholic for Girls scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They secured a 57-52 W over Barrack Hebrew Academy. The victory was some much needed relief for St. Hubert Catholic for Girls as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
St. Hubert Catholic for Girls found their leader in underclassman Luciana D'Andrea, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. D'Andrea is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexa Price, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
St. Hubert Catholic for Girls' win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10. As for Barrack Hebrew Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
St. Hubert Catholic for Girls will take on Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. Hubert Catholic for Girls focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Monday. Barrack Hebrew Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
