After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Kennedy, San Fernando was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Sylmar Spartans by a score of  51-42. Given the Tigers' advantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 425th, while the Spartans are ranked 927th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
