The Bingham Miners are taking a road trip to take on the Cedar Valley Aviators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Bingham was handed a 40-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Riverton 28-26. The Miners' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bingham to victory, but perhaps none more so than John Kulimushi, who picked up 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Those 152 receiving yards gave Kulimushi a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Boston Singley, who threw for 253 yards and four TDs.

Bingham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jayden Cumbee and KJ Afemui.

Meanwhile, Cedar Valley gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past Copper Hills 27-24. The Aviators haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Cedar Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Bingham, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
