Football Recap: Roseau Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Roseau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 59-8 loss at the hands of the Staples-Motley Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Cardinals are ranked 117th).

Roseau's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Staples-Motley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roseau will challenge Warroad at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Staples-Motley, they will face off against Hawley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
