 The Pinecrest Academy Paladins will head out on the road to  square off against  the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Pinecrest Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game this season.
 Pinecrest Academy came into Thursday's   contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past Lanier Christian Academy  4-3. The  win was just what Pinecrest Academy needed coming off of  a  16-6 loss in their prior  matchup.
  CJ Dominguez was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Johnson Ferry Christian Academy came up short against Cornerstone Prep Academy on Thursday and fell  11-7.
  Jackson Walker put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. Walker has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Walker was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Will Miller was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Zachary Grayson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Pinecrest Academy's victory  ended  an  eight-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 3-5. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
