Soccer Recap: Eastside's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Eastside had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Lancaster Eagles with a sharp 7-4 victory on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lions needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Lancaster from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kaelyn McCaslin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Eastside's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Lancaster, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-1 record this season.

Eastside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Antelope Valley on the 23rd. Lancaster has also already played their next contest, a 9-0 loss against Quartz Hill on the 23rd.
