Baseball Recap: Wasilla Takes a Loss

Wasilla came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Palmer Moose, falling 9-3. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Wasilla saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Wasilla's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Palmer, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Wasilla wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-2 loss against Soldotna on the 8th. As for Palmer, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against Chugiak on the 8th.
