Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilcox County). Everything went their way against the Johnson County Trojans on Monday as they made off with a 15-7 victory. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Wilcox County's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Johnson County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilcox County will venture away from home to challenge Telfair County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johnson County, they will head out to square off against Brentwood at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
