Softball Recap: Sapulpa Comes Up Short

Sapulpa fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Bixby on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 4-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Chieftains in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost five in a row.

Sapulpa's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Bixby, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Coming up, Sapulpa will square off against Glenpool at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bixby, they will challenge Charles Page at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
