Basketball Recap: Gracemont Takes a Loss

Gracemont won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt a 67-5 loss at the hands of the Verden Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 494th, while the Tigers are ranked 229th).

Gracemont dropped their record down to 2-18 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Verden, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gracemont has already played their next game (against Geary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Verden has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Alex.
