Everything went their way against the South Gwinnett Comets on Monday as the Heritage Patriots made off with an 18-2 win. Considering the Patriots have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Denzel Gillespie made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in February. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Heritage got a massive performance out of Mason Lynch, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple.
