Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pioneer Mustangs. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Lions it sure didn't stay that way.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pioneer, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Lincoln will challenge Ann Sobrato at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pioneer, they will host Willow Glen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pioneer is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 7.1 goals per game this season.
