Softball Recap: Balko Takes a Loss

The Balko Bison came up short against the Arnett Wildcats on Thursday and fell 9-5.

Balko has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Arnett, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-17.

Balko wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Dover on the 25th. As for Arnett, they are taking a road trip to challenge Seiling at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Seiling's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Arnett's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
