Football Recap: Diego Rivera Takes a Loss

Diego Rivera extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They fell 28-18 to the Fremont Pathfinders. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 26-22 to the Pathfinders when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Fremont, the win got them back to even at 2-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Elijah Ware went supernova, rushing for 115 yards and three scores.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Diego Rivera will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maywood CES at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Fremont, they will challenge Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pathfinders will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
