Basketball Game Preview: Abington Galloping Ghosts vs. Neshaminy Skins

The Abington Galloping Ghosts just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Neshaminy Skins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Abington will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Monday, Abington was able to grind out a solid victory over Penn Wood, taking the game 52-39. Given the Galloping Ghosts' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Patriots are ranked 407th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Neshaminy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Sunday. They had to suffer through a 61-22 loss at the hands of Conestoga. The matchup marked the Skins' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Abington's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Neshaminy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.

Things could have been worse for Abington, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 63-45 loss to Neshaminy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024.
