Ava Nance posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits.

Nance's strong effort led Gretna over Hastings and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dragons are 7-1 against the Tigers going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
