Softball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Frontier Cougars, falling 20-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-11 back in April.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Frontier, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-13 record.

Valley has already played their next matchup, a 13-6 loss against Magnolia on the 4th. As for Frontier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Monroe Central on the 4th.
