Calvary Day had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines by a score of 5-2 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cavaliers sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

The team relied heavily on Sam Renshaw, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Max Arnold was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Calvary Day was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Prince Avenue Christian only posted a batting average of .250.

Calvary Day pushed their record up to 27-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Prince Avenue Christian, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 29-6.

As of now, neither Calvary Day nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
