Basketball Recap: Youngsville Takes a Loss

Youngsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 55-4 loss at the hands of the Cochranton Cardinals. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-2.

Eve Pfeiffer was her usual excellent self, going 6-for-11 from beyond the arc on her way to 23 points and six rebounds for Cochranton. With that strong performance, Pfeiffer is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Marley Rodax was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Youngsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Cochranton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

As of now, neither Youngsville nor Cochranton have any future games scheduled.
