Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Clovis walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 5-2 margin over the Paso Robles Bearcats on Saturday. It was an even better day for Evie Juarez as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory made it two in a row for Clovis and bumps their season record up to 6-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Paso Robles, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Clovis will head out to challenge St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Joseph is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. Paso Robles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
